I've seen great times at the Park under the likes of Burrows, Campbell, Ballie, and 'Arry. In all honesty none of those can compare to what I witnessed earlier. We went into the game in 3rd place 7/2 with the Bookies to win the league. It was all over here in all honesty when we went 2.0 up, 3.0 it became and then the floodgates opened. We knew Donny had gone behind but of course Grimsby v Argyle was 1.1. Our fans started to sing "Champions, Champions" but then changed to "Come on Grimsby, Come on Grimsby". As the final whistle sounded I left, I always said I would irrespective of the outcomes elsewhere. I received a text as I strolled down an almost deserted Frogmore Road that we were Champions (cheers Kitey and my 2 sons). Been trying to make contact with Daz ever since, he no doubt will be sobering up for his return drive back to Kendal later. Happy Days and Cheers as I drink another tot. P.U.P.
