Pretty funny though. I wouldn't call it a farce, I'm not complaining
It is though, like the competition set up but definitely silly to allow teams that have just been in the same group to play in the next round, defeated the purpose really of the pens, especially as the next round is in less than two weeks
Not worried about playing them again, would feel the same regardless of the team it was
Hopefully we have a few bodies back for it

Yeah but it's entertaining, which was the purpose of the shake-up in the competition structure
If we had lost the penalty shoot out v Dundee today they would have taken our place as the lowest ranked seed #8 and we would have been the 5th in line of the non seeds #13 as our goals scored being better than Dundee would have elevated us from #15. The outcome would have been a home tie for us v Motherwell. Dundee would have been away to Partick. As I've said in another post seeding is just plain daft. There should just be an all in draw.

Had the result i wanted yesterday, but i also said i dont want a run in the League Cup. Think we are 2 signings short of a winning team, so another draw and penalties and i will be happy again!
