Always remember when Jack was meeting someone from a dating agency and Vera found out and turned up to meet him. Classic gold.
The Duckworths were TV gold, back in the day when Coronation Street had laughs in it. Now its just another dour, dingy depressing soap like the rest of them. Liz played the Vera role beautifully. Sad to see another good one go. RIP
True, it's just a pathetic Northern version of Eastenders.
Still remember those immortal lines " Woman,Stanley,woman"
I remember our Ena and ..."are those fancies fresh"
And Denis with the seal in the bath.
