Completely lost touch with speedway, but I used to love it too. I'd only have been a kid last time I went. The Wilsons, Eric Boocock, 'Tears of a clown' blaring out over the Tannoy. Lord, that takes me back. Great times with my Dad, bless him...Quote:

Used to go years ago and correct me if I am wrong but it was said Sheffield had one of the fastest tracks in UK speedway and their support has always been very good
