so why do people think we couldnt attract top managers

people keep saying if we got rid of rafa we woudldnt get another top manager
or one slightly better than rafas prem experiance with us

but why not
we got rafa

we got pardew who at the time was a bit better than the manager we got at the time

have people not worked out one of the most profitable jobs per game is the manager
and an unsuccesful manger at that

whats rafa on 5-7 mill a year
6 mill if we sack him

the bonus for getting us up

prem wages are a country ile more than the top european managers get

so why wouldnt one want to take a punt on us

lets face it
hthey wouldnt need to do a lot at the moment to make an impression

and like fat sam and moyses and maybe pardew
they will be on massive bonuses to keep their teams up

pullis makes loads out of doing just that


so why wouldnt we attract a decent manager

even idf ash phecks this one up im sure others will come in

'keeping us up' is Ashley's plan (failed twice) be nice to have a owner with ambition and to back their manager (Benitez)

In recent history Rafa is the only top manager we have been able to attract when the club was in a poor state and that was because he was either conned by Ashley's false promises or was aware that in the near future he may be involved in an owner change.

KK was appointed by Sir John knowing the potential of the club under a good owner and likewise Sir Bob took us over when we were in view of good things.

Other managers like MacMuffin and Pardew were just rubbish puppets desperate for a Prem position on Cashley's low wages.

Look mate, i understand what your saying and have said before. BUT top managers are ambitious managers who wont be lured by the prospect of getting shafted every season by an owner who simply wants to increase his profit margin. FFS even the speculate to accumulate argument is redundant with Ashley. We fo0king finished 5th and all we needed was a touch up on what we had to challenge for champions league places from then on................ but noooooo fat mike wouldnt and we almost got relegated, he didnt again and again and we were relegated, he didnt again and we are again fighting relegation, why do you think the sun shines out of his arse??? We have a manager who has won everything, yet you chose to blame him when from day 1 he said we were NOT good enough.
Ask Mourinho, if Mike ashley doubled or tripled his wages but he had the same financial constraints and the same freedom of every other manager we have had, would he take the job.............................mmmm no chance, top managers are winners, not bargain basement battlers like Hippoface, Rafa was duped to come here, given assurances Mike wasnt willing to follow up

Ashley is a liar and a conman

KK took him to court and won, he certainly did a good number on Rafa with his cockney barrow boy patter.

Aye that's like Pardew being on a private's wages with a promise of a generals spoils if he wins the was but against all odds.

Pardew was Ashley's puppet and presumed to be paying off a huge casino loan to Ashley thus working for peanuts as he was out of work and desperate for a job.
