MOP started a thread about it 10 minutes before you started this.


Unconfirmed sources have indicated that Mel intends to offer DDD a senior position in the club. Positions like Senior Press Officer or Technical Advisor to GR are being bandied about.

Now, now Romanis, play nicely.

No idea what it can be about but I wouldn't expect it to be anuwhere near earth shattering a mere 21 hours before a home game. That would be horrific timing.

I think for your own good (and perhaps detrimental to my club), he's somehow contrived to get a deal with some Chinese backers.
The Chinese are looking intently on investing in England and Derby have been looking good for promotion for some years now. It might be cheaper to buy in now rather than when the club is promoted.

If we are to be bought by foreigners again, I hope it's the Arabs so we can change the club's name to Abu Dhabi County ;)
