My pal was saying on Sunday that the season ticket holders in the middle lower sections behind the Gallowgate goal got letters recently saying they are having to move as it is being converted into a disabled/wheelchair access area. That'll mean the capacity of the stadium will be reduced by a good few hundred and will take us below 52k. Must be similar to what they are doing at Old Trafford.
Haven't heard anything about it to be honest. But as someone who is "walking disabled " I would personally love some sort of preference for the older or movement impaired fans.
Before anyone starts, I also don't think any1 should be forced to move seats for any other group. It should just be as people decide to not renew their season tickets.

my question would be, why the gallowgate? it has the least street level entrances, surely a section in the leazes would be better for disabled supporters.
are there any street level entrances ? the ones round the corner up the back lane are surely for the east stand?
I think there is a corporate entrance between shearers and the club shop, it just seems to be the least accessible stand for a disabled section... I don't get it?
