Surely appointed DOF or similar in the summer?
I just think any self respecting, strong, confident manager wouldn't want Wenger above them. He is outdated and definitely overstayed his welcome. After changing so much at that club, and doing so well, if leaves them now going backwards. And IMO ruined his legacy. I think they will have to move him on now, such is the divide down there.
Why would Eddie Who leave Bornmuth though, he knows hes onto something there. Unless its for the money maybe, but the Ar*senal job will be a poisoned cup thingy if he takes it.
Well Ive suggested why I think he shouldnt in my comment above, despite the money he will be earning etc. And I would hope he/Eddie doesnt take the job even IF it were to come his way (which it hasnt yet, of course). ;D
Err yes it would of course, and Id struggle to turn it down as well Sax, if Im honest. ;)
The Ars*enal job will bring all sorts of pressure and expectation on it because Wenger has been there for so long now, and they are used to getting to alomost every Fa cup final these days.
Id like to look at Eddie as possible future England material, fingers crossed for him that he might make that one day.
I have always had huge admiration for Wenger, despite his being a miserable sod at times.
He has kept to a positive passing-football philosophy all through his career.
This might be totally wrong because I don't follow them that closely, but I thought Arsenal were never quite the same after Vieira left.
He gave them that element of steel to go with all the skill they possessed.
I wonder if he's interested in managing a national team. (Actually the All-Whites could certainly do with him!)
