It is overlooked for whatever reason by directors and owners that vile crimes such as Bennells happened during their tenure. I suspect the BBC did the same with Jimmy Saville. Turned a blind eye? Who knows for sure? Guilt by association on the Crewe story? Does the vile actions of an individual make others accountable? Should they take some kind of action or responsibility?
I think it's difficult to say. Maybe their silence is out of shame or embarrassment but I'm sure we've all experienced guilt by association at some point in our lives. The actions of an individual can't always be used to judge others. However, if there is any evidence to suggest a cover up then it needs addressing and justice dealt to them.
Whilst ever money and success are prevalent in organisations the morality barometer appears not to exist .
There are people still out there who protected Saville , Cyril Smith and Bennell and it's high time we saw them have to answer for it .
Sad thing is you look at the Hillsborough tragedy for instance Animal. Although the families got the verdict they wanted after years and years fighting a corrupt system. What the hell has happened to the monsters who cooked up the web of lies and deciet in the 1st place? People from the very top buried boxes of doctored evidence in the vaults of Westminster. Who's accountable there then? Perhaps a vile hate campaign from a certain newspaper directed at these b@stards would get the wheels in motion. There's absolutely no chance of owt like that happening. Let's face it the government clearly used the Sun newspaper as a catalyst to help cover up the lies. It was a masterstroke to get the Sun reading working classes onside to buff out the cries for justice that were coming from the bereaved or others that knew the truth. I'd cry if I didn't laugh in total bemusement at our so called justice system.
All in bed with one another pass , as corrupt a nation as any south american banana republic mate , they just talk a bit posher and wear finer suits that's all .
What a sad state of affair , how is it allowed to happen ? Years back some Teachers trod a fine line and we're only too ready to either cane you , or at my School a barbers strap round your legs ( i wore short transfers anorl ) painful beatings, i remember once the school kitchen didn't have enough fish one Friday , the alternative was cheese pie , i didn't like cheese so I put my hand up to say so , The Headmaster ( orrible man ) shoved my face into the cheese pie and told me to be grateful for any food given to me , Imagine that narradays ,
I reckon some on here have suffered similar abuse from Teachers as i did , ( not ***ual thankfully )
When I was a kid at St Edwins in Laithes Lane
I stayed for school dinners & I never liked fish so I left it on my plate only for a dinner "lady" to tell me I must eat it & because I wouldn't I was sent to the headmaster's study where I received 4 smacks across my backside with a slipper
The headmaster was Pop Saville & I still hate the bas tard to this day almost 65 years later
If I knew where he was buried I swear I would pyss on his grave
How sad is that?
Could explain why I'm such a grumpy sod now not to mention Roma;D
I believe in some discipline but these bas tards took it too much to extremes
In the main I believe it's poor parenting that is a big cause of todays woes
Just realized my title reads Avery interesting article
