MATCH DAY POST: Brentford v The Mighty Blades

So back in action at last with 2 games in quick session starting with the trip to Brentford this afternoon. And though the play offs are still within reach, these 2 games present a big hurdle to overcome. London not being a particularly successful place for us, so far this season....

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

Basham likely to return...

Otherwise unchanged?

Brooks still not recovered enough to start?

Really tough game this, but also a chance to move back into the play off places. Really not that confident though, and I think a draw wouldn't be such a bad result. I'll hope for better but I reckon 1-1.... at best :)

Another fruitless trip to the capital me thinks 2-0,as always hope I'm wrong but we're gonna have to do something different to what we have been doin of late to get a result,I'd take a point now if it was on offer

Theer tha goes again wi nowt to lose crap Monte,i think it'll be 1-1 then onto Monday when hopefully we can turn Warnocks boys over.I'm hopin Wolves win today.By the way i watched Blackburn v Bradford last neet and that Bradley Dack looked a proper player,but the player who our resident knobheadmod once called the best full back outside the prem had yet another very mediocre/rubbish game. id take a draw now. my heads saying we,ve just ran out of that nervous energy we had earlier on in the season. we,ve become a lot slower in our play,which is understandable and acceptable. centre forwards arnt scoring now. so if i wa betting id say 3-0 loss. and a loss at home monday.

A draw is no good at all we may as well go for it and lose. It has been a while since we played, we have had time to regroup and prepare. I think CW will have the players right up for this. However will we take our chances ?. I think we will 2-1 Blades.

They've been on top, but Billy could have easily had a couple, not taken.

Disappointing, but it feels like this season is fizzling out. We've lost our momentum. The prize is still there and so close, but we don't look like we've got enough left to reach out and grasp it. Still, 45 mins to go...and anything can happen.
