In terms of context ie Champions League Quarter Final Ronaldo’s strike has the edge but for artistry Ashley’s finish v West Brom was equally as sublime as CR’s effort.
To get almost an entire stadium to their feet in spontaneous applause, kind of tells me Ronaldo's effort edged the Barnes Exocet but both were exquisite goals.

Ronaldos was a conventional one that he practises in training standing still till the ball arrives and doing a true overhead kick which looked more spectacular but Ashley’s was a one off, he had to run two paces back and swing his leg at 45 degrees to the left of his head so he didn’t land on his back or somersault and it looked a bit ugly in landing. You couldn’t train for that, it was just natural improvised talent. Ashley’s was the better goal in my view though Renaldos was more pleasing on the eye.
