Goat has fed Andy Giddings the line that "Barnsley will only consider exceptional bids for players. Barnsley believe the best recruitment this season could be keeping their best players". Giddings has apparently "tweeted" this line from Goat.

Either-

1. Goat has realised players like Bradshaw, Moore and Hammill would do well in the Third Division.

Or 2. Goat wants to ratchet up the transfer price and has so far failed to get the continental gegenpressers he was after (like he failed to get the two French lads in during the January window).
