Has got a bad knee injury, was a great player on his day and his work rate was tremendous and he loved the club and fans, disgraceful the way he got treated by pardew and the club, but he still give his all on the final day of the season against west ham to keep us up.

Yep a definite legend in my eyes. His loyalty and enthusiasm to the cause makes him a legend to me.
And yes he was treated badly the way he was told he wasn't wanted.
Love him. Even scored the odd important goal for us. Had his greatest days with Enrique on left back, but coming back after cancer treatment to get us that goal... wow!
That moment when he came back onto the pitch and the lead up to it as he was getting ready to come on...genuinely spine-tingling and moving.
He is a special fellow and to think that Ashley had to do his dirty work on him without facing him man to man was nothing short of disgusting.:?Quote:
