Can someone please explain to why the commentators stated several times on BT sport, that Vokes is lacking confidence.
Why? he finished 7th in the league when in reality he should have been in a relegation battle, he also had some decent turn outs for his country...now for the first time in his career (im guessing) he is playing European football... is this not his best season ever?
Why would he lack confidence?
Because he knows he is going out of Europe and the fans think he is part of a relegation threatened team?

Watched the game in a pub without commentary, just thought Vokes was really unlucky. Not our day, Barnes also unlucky, good that Vydra is straight off the mark.
If you have ever watched Wales when Vokes is playing and Bale is planting the ball on Big Sam's forehead he never looks short of confidence then.:O
