Is how I feel about the future of the club at the moment. Ashley won’t sell and he is not investing in our club when it’s not panic buys. We have a worthwhile manager, but that doesn’t really matter when the owner isn’t worthwhile.
There will be a day when Ashley is no longer our Fat Controller.
Maybe that will be when some billionaire wants to buy it off his hand as a new plaything. Or he'll want to free up some liquid cash for some other deal and he'll displose of his stake in us. Maybe Sport Direct shares will tank one day and he'll need to sell up to shore up MASH holdings.
Best not to hold your breath.
But the day will come.
