I was thinking the same Alf, I'll have to give him a bell.
I wondered what had also happened to Whitty as he had not posted for a while, I emailed him and he said he was so disillusioned with BFC's poor displays, but he still looks in but finds it hard talking about the performances, hopefully that is all it is with BT, unless he's gone where the sun is still shining to keep his child bride happy.
Wherever he is, maybe he booked one of taxis to bring him back, so who knows when he'll turn up again.

Just had four days in Prague with the child bride. Went with Jet2 - never again! Tell you the gruesome details later, but avoid that outfit like the plague!Quote:

Oh dear, sorry to hear that BT, the old overbooking scam still up and running then. If they're playing that game then I won't be booking with them again.
The only experience I've had of it was flying back to Manchester from Gibraltar after a holiday in Andalucia, it was Sunday afternoon and BA had overbooked the flight back to Manchester. They offered any couple who would give up their seats a free overnight stay and meals at Gib's best hotel, plus £250 and a flight back on Monday. That'll do me I said to the missus but she wouldn't wear it, I'm working tomorrow she said, bollox to that I said, ring in and tell them the plane's overbooked and you're trapped in Gib, they won't know any different. But no she wouldn't budge and some other couple got the free stay and the money. Women eh ?
