Aye, another one joining the great band in the sky ---far too young.
Hope his passing gets the respect it deserves.. I'm sure it will in the circles that matter.

I was / am priviliged to have watched the The Buzzcocks live on many occasions.
As always seems to be the case "you don't know what you've got till it's gone"....fantasic band, brilliant songs / lyrics, they / he influenced the music of the time and the future more than seems to be recognised.
Looking back it puzzles me how even after the various line ups and changes they are still considered a punk band....who cares, a very sad loss but some wonderful memories of gigs in small venues, before they became "famous".....
Tributes poured in from this country and all over the world, citing his influence..
I've told my youngest nephew, who's an aspiring talented musician, you don't have to become the biggest to make your mark in music and go down in history.
