Wolves Legend..

Bill Slater passed today aged 91. Remember him playing very well, quiet, disciplined and extremely skillful half back. Don't make em like Bill anymore.

The pic is of him and "chopper" Clamp with the FA Cup in 1960. The final was the only cup game I missed that year!

He was always spoken of as a real gentleman. One off the best we have had. RIP.
