He's scoring for fun at Villa and did well in his loan spell at Bristol City. Swansea wasn't so good. He has age on his side and it looks like this deal is edging closer, but reports seems to suggest on loan.Quote:

Great news for us. I agree he's better off at villa where he's starting every game and no point disrupting his season. We would have real problems replacing him.
Which i think could have helped make up his mind. There's no way he would get into our starting line-up ahead of Jota and Jiminez. Why bench warm when you can play every game at Villa? There's also no guarantee to Abraham regarding a permanent move at the end of the season.Quote:

I agree that Jimenez and Jota is now our best front line, 5 in midfield also allows Neves the opportunity to come forward more like last night. He’s wasted sitting in front of defence playing short passes, I suspect that playing this way led to his loss of form.
