All that VAR stuff, and then Scotland women don't get the clearest penalty of the lot!
What's going on?
Bad day when you have to rely on VAR to try and get your team a draw at best. Scotland �������������� were well beaten today by a team that believed they could win from the first whistle, and carried out their tactics to the letter. They shut us down deep in our own half and restricted our options to make any sort of dangerous pass resulting in us making unforced errors. We on the other hand stood off our opponents allowing them room and time to make and create chances. IMO all our national teams wether Women, men, under21s appear to take to the field with a mustn’t lose attitude, it doesn’t necessarily follow that you are trying to win the game. Yes you should give your opponents respect but you don’t need to be in awe of them to an extent that you are defending so deep in your own half that there is no pass to be made without putting your team under pressure.
So the manager screwed up the tactics? That's how it looked to me in both games.Quote:
