Farewell Poch and a return for Maureen. Jose always seemed to give the impression that he had unfinished business in the Premier League. For Poch I expect him to go abroad. Things might have turned out differently if Spurs had won the Champions League but somehow the wheels have come off and the team have been putting in some lacklustre performances this season. Looking at their upcoming fixtures Everton’s Marco Silva seems likely to face the axe sooner rather than later and will an “Emery Board” be convened at Arsenal to give their manager the dreaded vote of confidence? Pellegrini must be wondering what future he has at West Ham and OGS is failing to impress at Old Trafford. I fully expect Norwich to keep faith with Daniel Farke even if their season ends up in relegation. Watford were by all accounts dreadful yesterday and with the Pozzo clan’s itchy trigger fingers it may soon be goodbye to the recently appointed Quique Flores. If Southampton can put in more performances like Arsenal away rather than Leicester at home Hasenhuttl should keep the reins at St Mary’s. Everyone hates Burnley and that should be good news for Clarets dreaming of holding on to Sean Dyche.

Marco Silva has surely got to be the proverbial dead man walking at Everton. Why they ever gave him the job in the first place is as big a mystery to me as us signing Nahki Wells.

Take your pick from Arsenal, Everton, Watford, or Southampton. Only Ings is keeping the Saints manager in a job at present. :(

Ole dodged a bullet this afternoon as well, they were shocking for 80 minutes. He got away with it in the end, but upstairs at Old Trafford they must be asking questions, United don't pay managers to be 9th in the PL, to be outplayed by Sheffield United, and to have scored less goals than Sean Dyche's Burnley with more than a third of the season gone. They might be talking about Ole overseeing a long term project, but long term in the PL means about a season at most. I would think his job is on the line with those mentioned above.

You're far too kind to him BT, I thought he was even more rubbish than usual, the way Mousset left him sprawling on the deck, arms and legs akimbo, for their first goal was hilarious, I even told Mrs S to abandon her kitchen duties for a minute to come and watch the replay. Ole might be a bit out of his depth, but even he had the nous to hook him at half-time, and with the astute Mr Southgate running international affairs his England days are well and truly behind him as well. I never used to know whether to laugh or cry watching him and Smalling lumbering about in an England back four, trying to pretend they were footballers, WTF was that all about.

Can't answer that question sinkov, but Smalling is doing well with Roma.

I laughed at this because lots of fans couldn't get rid of Wenger quick enough. Now, 18 months down the line they wanted rid of their manager and he too has gone.
Eigh**** months is a ridiculous time to fashion a team and, if a number of players are determined to make life awkward, as has been the case, any manager will always struggle.

In eigh**** months he has had a net spend of £154 million --compare that to Burnley whose net spend over 5 seasons is £62 million ---put in simple terms, in 18 months Arsenal have spent 250% more than Burnley have spent in 5 years. Remind me again where we are in the PL.
