Macclesfield will be deducted a further 6 points and quite possibly an extra 4 points
Macclesfield got deducted 6 points on December 19th for failing to fulfil the home fixture on December 7th against Crewe. Another suspended 4 point deduction was also tagged on.
They then failed to fulfil the home fixture on December 21st against Plymouth.
So, presumably that suspended 4 point deduction will be implemented plus a further 6 points for the second offence. The EFL have set a precedent with the first 6 point deduction so they must give a second 6 point deduction and they also must implement the suspended 4 point deduction.
Are Macclesfield now effectively on (19 - 10 = 9) points?
