As daft as it sounds, I do love my own accent lol. My accent is not Barnsley though, because Im not from there of course, and I sound more like a cross between Leeds & Wakefield. XD
A few years ago I found and met a few cousins that I did not even know existed...(whole story too long to relate)...who live in Wakefield and Doncaster. It was great getting to know them and their kids but it was strange for me to hear their Yorkshire accents as apposed to all the other members of my family from the south. It will be fun the day their kids meet mine with who speak English with a French accent!Quote:
