Threadbare unless....

Hendrick, Brady, Lennon, Hart and Bardsley are all out of contract end of June.

It looks like we will be taking big financial hits on Brady, Lennon and Hart.

We have built in cover for Hart with young Bailey, Bardsley must be worth another two years and Hendrick another four if we can persuade them both to stay?

Brady has done virtually nothing useful for two years, Lennon is only OK off the bench and Billy Big Bollox can shove his dandruff where the sun don't shine for me.

On Saturday our midfield was not functioning, so why not give Brownhill a go?

If I was a player thinking about joining Burnley, I would look at the Wells, Gibson and Vydra experiences and think "Nah!"

Perhaps that's one of the reasons our squad is threadbare?

I would like to see Brownhill & Vydra given a decent run.

Brownhill has settled in now and if we leave Vydra out we are in danger of destroying his new found confidence.
