O/T 'Nipper' Read goes off to meet the Karys.....then again....

One of the great Detective's of yesteryear has passed on. Detective Chief Superintendent Leonard "Nipper" Read, the man who finally nailed the Kray twins, was 95.

Never realised he was a boxer and that was where his nickname of 'nipper' came from.

I say, 'goes off to meet the Krays' but, I suspect if there is an after life, then he'll have gone upstairs while they have descended below.
