In this uncertain time we are all facing what would the general feeling be if the owners changed the name of meadow lane for a sponsorship deal? Even just for 1 year, to help us keep going?
I would welcome it if it ever came to those measures.

Fans would still call it Meadow Lane so I agree, no problem with this
They can call it The Boaty McBoatyface Stadium for all I care, it will always be Meadow Lane to me.
No issue for me, as others have said it will always be ML to the fans and could be incorporated into the new name ie the “Football Radar Meadow Lane Stadium”.
And me Jolly Jack ..... however got me thinking. It is apparent (note word Elite!) the whole of this side of Nottingham is going to be developed as can be seen by the new apartments being built in the old car park opposite the main gate. Should this development continue and expand I can envisage our ground being smack in the centre of this new part of the city (Eastside) along with shops, pubs etc and an extension of the tram system, all meaning it could well out do and be more marketable as a 'district' for advertising and sponsorship than the City ground area of WB. I've not been to the modern Stamford Bridge but isn't that area now accepted as 'Chelsea Village' and isn't Pride Park an area as opposed to just being a ground?
Even accepting the hard fact that we won't for many years, or probably never, have the support or league status of Forest, It could well be that our world famous old ground could be synonymous with an upmarket and progressive area and for this reason alone could well attract good sponsorship.
The Aaron Scargill Stadium !
The Pukka Pies Stadium would work
