Who says there are no bargains at the top level in football ? Fortuna Dusseldorf seem to have found one, currently 5th top scorer in the Bundesliga, 15 goals from 26 league and Cup games, and they picked him up on a free transfer from............Burnley.

When we were in Dusseldorf in December the locals did not even know he had come back from Burnley.
Oddly like me, they were not that impressed with him either.
That's very odd BT, by the time of their winter break just before Xmas he'd scored 13 goals in 18 games for them, but you're saying they weren't even aware he was playing for them, never mind banging goals in for fun. Maybe they were putting you away, even though us English don't think so, they do have a sense of humour the Germans. >;)Quote:
