Have a wee soft spot for Frankfurt because I'd went back to Berlin 3 years ago with the wife and didn't realise it was the German cup final and there were 10000 of their fans in a fanzone that engulfed Alexanderplatz square so we just booked in the hotel threw our luggage in the room and joined in the party. What a day it was. We were playing Hamilton in the away play off on the same day so the German beer and the atmosphere in a sun soaked Berlin numbed the pain.
A few years earlier I'd witnessed us getting a bit of a football lesson in a friendly v Union Berlin so I have a wee soft spot for them too and was delighted when they were promoted to the Bundesliga. Think we got beat 4-1 and Brian Graham scored for us. Another brilliant trip with some great arabs.
