4 pre season.......

...... friendlies. Is it enough? Especially taking into consideration we have had 3 completely indifferent and underwhelming games thus far. Holme, Lawro and Bielik still injured. Waggy and Sibley missing for, to me anyway, reasons unkown from the last 2 friendlies. I fully expect (but will still watch) the ass whuppin I expect Sheff U (FFS the Blades as our BIG pre season game....... oh how the mighty are fallen) will give us. Really take us into the season on a high will that..... NOT!

Not all doom and gloom though. We've had poor pre seasons in the past and gone on to have a good season. The reverse has also been true for DCFC. It's all, supposedly, about getting minutes in the legs they say and I think we have way too few of them. I hope I'm wrong.

Its about the normal number and there will be some behind closed doors matches at training grounds. I think too much is made of pre season, its fitness, teamwork trying tactics etc. and thats not restricted to actual games so dont see how many we have matters at all.

We're gonna win the league this year, all will be well! 4 will be plenty enough to get us going.
