Prediction League - West Ham United
Wolves head to London to take on 18th place West Ham. Last winter, David Moyes began his second stint as West Ham manager, replacing Manuel Pellegrini. Seemed odd considering he had been replaced by Pellegrini at West Ham just a year before. But he did take the Hammers from the depths of 17th place, on the cusp of relegation, all the way to the heights of....16th place. To be fair, West Ham finished 3-3-1 in their final 7 matches to stave off relegation. This "offseason", they've done very little business thus far and the results have been about what you'd expect from a bad team doing nothing to change their squad. They lost their opener to Newcastle 0-2 and then lost to Arsenal 2-1. They will be desperate in this match as their schedule looks like this: Wolves, @Leicester, @Tottenham, Man City, @Liverpool. That is 6 of last season's top 8 in their first 7 matches. They will be desperate to get anything out of this stretch. Wolves, on the other hand, are at the beginning of a generous slate of matches through October. But these are games we need 3 points from if we want to build a good cushion to get back into continental play for next season.
West Ham 0-2 Wolves
