Streaking to the bottom.
Bonner, or "bonz", put his finger on Uniteds problems a few days ago when he said the team lacked quality. The quality players we have Hoolahan, mazouni and Mullin, only Mullin is doing it.
Hoolahan is past it, he hasnt produced since the stone age, Mizouni hasnt either. When the chips are down, you look to your creative players to get you out of a hole, which isnt happening. Hoolahan and Mizouni are mistakes.
If you want better players it will cost. Is Barry going to stump up?, no. We are buried in the wilds of the 4th div for the forseeable future. Or worse. And are better players going to come to Cambridge?, no. 38 year olds might.
As with all Cambridge managers, they get the blame. The real reason for failure is a lack of money. You cant make a silken purse out of a pigs ear. Having said that, if Bonner gets United up, he will be, as far as i am concerned, a miracle man.
Lack of money indeed, its there really isnt it? Nudge nudge.
You will be a fall guy Bonz, like all the rest. Having said that, it would be healthy for the board to imply that div 4 is the best that can be done, and Bonner can keep his job.
After all that is true, isnt it.
January and the next close season is the test for Barry, is he going to spend our money, i mean his, on better players or not? Dont hold your breath. The answer will be no.
Bonz indeed, to think i used to be like that.

I'm becoming increasingly despondent with Cambridges results lately Frank and I'm not sure that I want them as my second team anymore,Carlisle on the other hand are sitting third in the league and seem likely to be in the mix at the end of the season so I may start to support them,Cambridge have seven days to sort themselves out otherwise I'm swopping my allegiance

I think you should. I am a lifelong fan, and i dont go anymore. I would not go if i could. The guts have gone out of the club, we used to be small fry beating the big boys, in your face, up and at em, even before Beck. We used to have money, now all we have is small change.
We sign lame, lopsided, over the hill, nobodies now, figuratively speaking.
Now its a political, non offensive, touchy feely, weak, diplomatic, lefty, socialist, nothingness, a weak tea, a bolognese with no garlic, Curry with no bite, an english breakfast with no bacon.
I might join you, after all the worst of all things is not to die. It is to be alive and wishing you were dead, like now.
I am talking in a football sense.
How id love Paul Barry to get in the papers with a comment about losing yesterday, like " wot the fck woz that"? I dont know Paul Barry, but i do through his words and actions over many years. His directorship and now chairmanship leaves me in tears.
Its life though, having any expectation is fraught with danger.
Go be free chalky, leave this mess behind.
