Can't stand the bloody stuff. Nature's piss take. I don't care how pretty it looks when its come down, within hours its just filthy slushy crap.:mad: Never even liked it as a kid. Could not understand the enthusiasm of the other kids to get out in it.

Remember 62/63 winter well. Started snowing on Boxing Day and did it snow. I was at Molineux and the game was abandoned at half time with us 2-0 down. Didn't get home to Leominster until midnight. The points on the railway lines kept freezing up. Mum was going spare, no mobile phones in those days. Snow still on the ground until April. Children from outlying farms and villages didn't get to school for weeks. I lived in the town but we only went to school until lunchtime. Haven't had a winter like it since.
