Puzzled as to what went wrong. Seemed to be flying at the start of the season then a switch flicked. Results turned sour and next thing he is out on his hole.

It doesn't work that way. When Pardew was under pressure for the sh!t results and performances (plus the insane excuses) we got shed loads of stick from a wide section of the media.
