Our current sponsor is rumoured to be in financial difficulties. Who would have bet on that? Our revenues seem destined to take a further hit. It is looking increasingly like we will be a busted flush if we are relegated to the Championship. We are not safe yet and will be in serious trouble if injuries to key players strike during the second half of the season.
Free agents and loan players will be an option but by their nature they won't be anywhere near top notch. If betting sponsorship is going to be banned anyway it's probably a good time to start looking elsewhere before everybody else.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Oak Furniture an agreement with Burnley should they be relegated to the Championship? I recall reading something regarding this a few years back when we went down and up again.
