Harry Windsor (or rather Saxe-Coburg-Gotha) flying in from the States? Why? If so, I would hope that he is escorted from the airport to the nearest Premier Inn for ten days quarantine.
Charles also visited a hospital last week to say thanks to the staff. Surely he could have done this via a link?
They only let you visit hospitals right now if they think your relative might die. Those are the current rules, I believe.
Each hospital sets its own rules but most will allow limited visiting to see patients, especially those nearing end of life.
One of our friends died before Christmas and her husband was able to visit yet his name was not Windsor!
People will bend over backwards to make excuses for a member of the Royal Family who break the rules, but want ordinary people slung in jail.
Typical British mentality.
That's not the case here though.
If, like other posters are saying, some hospitals have been allowing limited visits then I don't see the problem with this.
The care home situation is more delicate in that these people are incredibly vunerable and all locked in together.
I'm no royalist but I don't see the issue either as long as we don't hear news of a similar situation at the same hospital featuring an age commoner being treated differently and I'm as sure as hell we would do.
