Question for moderator
Could you answer these Griff as per the other board.
It’s a chance for the mods to clear it up and put it to bed as well - hopefully.
If a member wanted all their posts deleted how would they go about it?
Could a user bypass yourselves and go to the software company directly to delete their history?
Does the backend allow the mods to delete a users whole history?
Has the mods ever had a request to delete a users history, either by said user or someone else?
Have the mods asked someone else to delete a users post history?

Happy to respond Mullen. Since 1st April last year Digital Sports Group (DSG) who run these boards on the FootyMad network shut down the back office, probably because they were working with reduced staffing. I haven’t got access back yet so my abilities are restricted to the moderation tools. DSG staff have always been my first port of call when dealing with IT queries and, if they get general CUFC queries direct from the public, they would pass them to me to deal with. My expertise is therefore in the moderation of this board and the associated administration, not in the fine detail of the IT.
Dealing with your questions:
If a member wanted all their posts deleted how would they go about it?
They could ask me but it would be a monotonous process as I’d have to do it one by one. They could ask DSG but I have no idea whether or how they would do it.
Could a user bypass yourselves and go to the software company directly to delete their history?
Anyone could go direct to DSG but they have a history of copying emails etc to me for comment.
Does the backend allow the mods to delete a users whole history?
From my memory of it, definitely not.
Has the mods ever had a request to delete a users history, either by said user or someone else?
Not in my time.
Have the mods asked someone else to delete a users post history?
Not in my time

Thanks Griff and that’s all that’s needed.
