This article puts us at 5th in the world but I would disagree. It's not just on the record of matches played and won.
To my mind success is about how many times that trophy and other major trophies have been won.
Look at it another way. It's 55 years since we won the World Cup and it was only 54 years between the sinking of the Titanic (almost ancient history) and winning the World Cup in 1966.
