Rumour around the valleys that their star man (Mullin) is injured. Looks like the Odd couple will need to get more of their dead presidents out !!Apparently he's been for a scan?

Don’t see the relevance - he doesn’t play for us so not an issue

If he was injured that would mean they don’t have a £250k big lump up front to get on the end of the £200k big thrower. Basically that would be their game plan royally up the spout!

Is Mullin a big lump? I thought he looked better than that.

Though your point still stands re. How they would play in his absence.

We just need to be concerned with how we play and not worry about other teams, its up to us whether or not we get promoted not Wrexham or anyone else.

If by 'we' and 'us' you meant the players then you might have a point.

But NCM posters? No problem at all in taking a keen interest in our main rivals in the dog fight to get out of this league.

Not necessarily. If Wrexham or any other rival team drop a few points due to an injury crisis, it will make our task easier.

Yeah, I was just taking the opportunity to have a dig at their expense. Mullin definitely knows where the goal is, but he needs the service. His 31 goals or whatever it was last season included 11 penalties. So around 20 non penalty goals, also a lot of his goals for Cambridge last season were in and around the 6 yard box which suggests he got very good service from his team mates. He’s essentially dropped down two leagues so will be interesting to see if he gets the same level of service in the NL.
