A tournament every summer?

Wenger states that even though the euros were 2 months ago it feels like an age. No it doesn't, infact there's been far too much football played this year for me with the elongated covid season then the euros then pretty much straight into this season, its none stop and it loses alot of its appeal plus the more knackered the players get the worse the quality gets. As was alluded to on another thread alot of games are boring and teams pass it about amongst the defence again and again. How is even more football going to improve the quality? Also in this link it states at teams with international players then they'll be no club games for a month whilst they qualify, alot of club fans don't give 2 ****s about the national teams, I think we'd most of us would prefer Notts to win big than England. My dad laments the end of the clear definition between winter and summer sports where the winter sports go longer and longer and then there is no summer sports. Stop meddling for money FIFA and UEFA you greedy tw@ts.

If FIFA do a 2 year world Cup then how long till UEFA do a euros every 2 years. I know UEFA only protested the superleague to protect the champions league but I feel FIFA are the real cnuts.

Completely agree with all of the above, particularly the greedy comment.

FIFA and UEFA so out of touch with reality.

When you see that four Premier League players were arrested on the pitch at the Brazil v Argentina game yesterday for a breach of Covid travel rules and fans not being able to attend abroad, talk of increasing international tournaments seems completely crazy. It might reach the stage where we have the longest break between World Cups since the 2nd world war if things get worse. Absolutely anything is possible now. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

You're right mate about the world cups, 48 teams so looking forward to plenty of dead rubbers or one sided affairs in Qatar. Lovely stuff.
