Played well enough but no complaints in the end...3-2 or 4-2 would have been fairer reflection on the game.
We failed to turn up after the break - I think we avoided a thumping.
First half we were very decent after 10 mins - losing the goal with last kick of the half must've changed the HT team talk. We should've come out and went for a team that were clearly there for the taking. But we didn't, and curled into our shell until the last 15-20 mins. Chance lost IMO.
Alternatively Celtic got a rocket themselves at ht, played the first 20 mins of the second half much better and we did well to cling on.
Result apart, that was pretty much everything you'd look for in a performance against the OF. Our goalie had a blinder, apart from two spells to start the half we were solid defensively, we pressed when we could (look at our shape in the build up to Turnbull shanking his chip wide, that'll appear in coaching books both positively and negatively), got forward when we could and made chances.
What's annoying is given all the times we get thrashed because the OF outplay us, we don't turn up or the referee robs us, we had all the opportunity in the world to nick something and STILL couldn't get it done.
