Fulham were 2-0 up soon after half-time, then with about 15 minutes left substitute Mick Vinter pulled one back for the Magpies. Then it looked like we’d come away with a point when Les Bradd dispossessed Bobby Moore and crossed for Ian Scanlon to equalise, only for Fulham to get their third, two minutes from time. I seem to think all three Fulham goals were headers. Needham and Stubbs must have had an off-day!
