i did not want DS to go, I think he deserved more time, had indeed earnt it, however Villa are a sleeping giant on the way back and a bloke from Birmingham called Dean who hasnt won anything of note either as player or manager has to pretty much win every game and wring 100% out of every player without having the respect tat other gaffers get for their playing honours or their managing style. I feel he lost the dressing room by being to much of a mate. Training was not intense enough, standards were not high enough.
Stevie G clearly is the opposite, he wants everyone to strive for eliteness, you can see the players are all working at least 20% harder to impress a world class midfielder who has won everything but the league.
glad Dean got a job at Norwich asap, suits him i think thats his level. He should have stayed at BRentford really but god love him he saved us from the championship and Steve Bruce
