When I worked at Hepworths in Stourbridge I used to deal with an old guy called Chris Gittings who was one of the originals from The Archers and still in it in the late 70’s when I knew him.
Stourbridge has a real connection to Tve Archers.
Ken Barlow though........playing the same part for 62 years just about shows your limitations as an actor, he’s played Ken Barlow longer than I’ve played my f e c k I n self!
