HOWEVER... looking at these other reports, from so called good sources.
Sky Sports claimed the Magpies would have to offer Sevilla €45m (£37.6m) for Diego Carlos.
However, Newcastle are reportedly refusing to pay more than about €30m (£25.1m) at present.
£37.6m for one of the best CBs in La liga - how can that be too much?
To me that sounds like a bargain?
So they value Carlos in the same range as Wood? If thats true, I can see why every club we deal with get pissed off.
Or, has someone further up the ladder shut off the money, after they spend £25m on Wood?
