Fleetwood v Cambridge, its link to infinity.

Georg Cantor was a mathematician who said that God had given him the idea of mathematical infinity. He called this transcendental numbers, and an infinity of infinities.

There is no bigger number, it keeps getting bigger. Others have tested this, and numbers just keep getting bigger.
Astronomers have measured the Universe, there is no curve as you would find on a ball, suggesting a boundary. The problem might be that the Universe is really flat, and they havent measured along the length enough, or high enough. Unlikely though.

If existence is infinite, that means there is no death, everything just keeps jogging on, which then means everything is meaningless, in the physical, especially the physical, and spiritual. Everything that can be done, has been done, an infinite number of times. Including dying. All that is left is an infinite process of spiritual ecstasy, love, that only has meaning if there is suffering as well, or hate. So not to be a cheerleader for suffering in all its forms is a negative thing.
So lets raise a glass to the Nazis.
So where does the above game come into it. Quite simple really. Its a way of passing infinity. Like if you are waiting for a train, you read a newspaper, daydream, or get a coffee.

The train never comes though. People yearn for immortality, but dont know what to do with themselves on a rainy sunday afternoon.

And so it is with football, its just passing time, time that doesnt exist. A professor of english, at Ohio University writ a note to a student.

The result at Fleetwood doesnt matter, nothing does. Infinity is like nothing really exists, but it does, and we are condemned to repeat over and over, for ever.

If United win at Fleetwood, the fans who go will arrive back in Cambridge with a sense of accomplishment, when none has been achieved. If you go, there are mental health services available. All the food the Community trust provides, the only thing to do is burp, and move on.
