They did a feature about this on talkSport this morning, he mentioned people in their 50s and 60s being involved with some of the organised violence. The increase across Europe will be a reflection of rising tensions and frustrations in wider society, but alchohol and drugs will play a huge part. Never understood why people feel they have to be 'out of it' to enjoy a football match.Quote:

Not sure if the violence is on the up, but drinking and fighting at football is hardly a new phenomenon and I'd say the cocaine element has been significant for at least 20 years too.Quote:
