Watford wanted a young english coach and appointed Rob Edwards from Forest Green as manager. Was Bonner considered? no, nothing appeared in the press.

It will be the style too, narrow pitch, long ball, closing down, destroying play rather than play a beautiful game. Bonners career is over, he will fail at Cambridge, through lack of funds, burn out, no more turning water into wine because he cant anymore, and a very limited employment market.

What he has done is considerable, and the football world says so what.
