Vote of Confidence
Johnson is an interesting politician. In his physical presentation, he reminds me of the later Christopher Hitchens, that fleshy, unkempt nonchalance. His mop top has set a fashion among younger anti-EU British politicians, or is it my imagination?

In 2019, he was the man of the hour--right moment, right message, right opponent. He deserves a monument for pushing through Brexit--including a bronze replica of Nigel Farage's foot attached to his backside.
Clearly he's disappointed many since. It seems odd that he may fall with a such a large majority.

Boris has had a difficult time, first Brexit, then Covid and this stupid war in Ukraine in the background. The Christmas partygate was a big mistake, and he has apologized for that, but the press and opposition parties are like a dog with a bone. They will not let it drop. Personally I hope he manages to win through and continues to lead the party. If he goes then it is going to be difficult to replace him. I can not think of any names that jump out and grab me.
