Glad I didn’t put in for that. Why anyone would do a whip round for someone who is probably on a lot more money with a job they love doing is beyond me but whatever floats peoples boats I suppose. 😂

Only joking, at the time our fans liked him enough to get him the shirt he so wanted but, yes you're right he could have bought one himself for £250 so all that pleading to Barker for him to count his cup goals to reach his 25 goal target makes him look a right cheapskate.
