Paul Simpson, the reality of him and the club

Since Paul Simpson left Carlisle United he has managed or been assistant manager at the above clubs in that sequence. He has not achieved any honours with any of them.
I like to see things as they are, not speculate about what the most rabidly optimistic scenario could be.
His last honour achieved was at Carlisle United, getting the team promoted to EFL One.
But the differences between then and now are that there is no Dennis Booth as Assistant Manager and there is no Fred Story as owner fixing up the finances.
